In one of their most high-profile collaborations yet, the Hipster Orchestra took the stage with rap legend Nas in Johannesburg, South Africa, for a Castle Lite-sponsored festival performance. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of his seminal debut Illmatic, Nas approached Jingle Punks to arrange the album for full orchestra. The final show saw the Hipster Orchestra teaming up with the Johannesberg Philharmonic, with CEO Jared Gutstadt on upright bass and arrangements by senior composer, Jeff Peters.

This concert is a giant step for the Hipster Orchestra, and will be the first of many new exciting projects over this next year and beyond.
